This is a special area of Ducati servicing and performance work which, with a little help, we have adopted, developed and can now offer to many Ducati owners looking for that little bit more from their pride and joy.

How it came about...........................

We have been selling and servicing Ducati's for over 14 years and many of our team have been with us for over 30 years. All our technicians fly to Italy each year for the very latest training and updates from the factory. Paul and Alan are both major track day fans and we are also very pleased to be associated with Knight Road Racing www.knightroadraceteam.co.uk owned and run by Alan and his wife Charlotte. What we have never done though as a company is get involved with racing.......many dealers spend huge amounts of money developing bikes and parts for racing and some of this knowledge, sometimes at huge expense can be passed on to customers bikes.

This is where we wanted, as always, to do something a little differently. We wanted to develop our standard servicing to offer our customers the next step in setting their Ducati up to get the very best from the standard parts without emptying their wallet with expensive 'tuning' parts and accessories.

Many of us have ridden what should be two very similar bikes, perhaps two 748's or two 996 models but one has felt much better than the other. What we wanted to do was make sure our customers could always have the better of the two bikes.

The next step was a chance meeting with a certain Neil Spalding at a cold Brands Hatch track day in November 2007. For those of you who know Neil then I need say no more. For those that don't know him having had a successful career in Club Championships in the 80's he went on to persuade SBK to run the European Supermono series. At the time this was the only race series to encourage Four-stroke prototypes. Neil entered a Ducati Supermono in several World Superbike support races winning races at Daytona and Donington. In addition Neil is technical editor of Motocourse, the leading Motorcycle racing and GP annual, is considered an authority on MotoGP technical development and writes for many motorcycle magazines worldwide on technical and racing subjects. During this time Neil also developed his very successful company, SIGMA Performance developing slipper clutches subsequently used by race teams all over the world and offering Ducati servicing, tuning and chassis set-ups to get the very best from the Ducati machine.

With Neils commitments to Sigma Performance, the slipper clutches and an ever increasing demand for his writing Neil was looking for a way to pass on his workshop servicing and for someone to continue his work inculding the 'FULL MONTY', the 853 conversions and the very special 996 'GRUNTER'. We talked and after a number of meetings with Neil and his lead technician Bruce, who was returning to America, we were in a very exciting postion to develop exactly the way we wanted to with some of the best knowledge, experience and support behind us.
